I create my handmade farmhouse plate collection using black clay. These plates, which can be used for serving pasta, appetizers, breakfast items, and more, are made entirely from hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished clay slabs and achieve their final appearance through a manual distressing process. Therefore, no two pieces are identical.
The handmade patterns on the plates are both distinct from one another and form a surprising sense of unity when brought together.
More pieces and colors will be added to the collection seasonally.
Caring for Your Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the images, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. I recommend minimizing the contact of the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics with foods or drinks that may leave stains.
