I craft my handmade farmhouse plate collection using black clay. These plates, which you can use for serving dishes such as pasta, appetizers, and breakfast items, are made entirely from hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished clay slabs, and they achieve their final appearance through hand-distressing. Therefore, no two pieces are exactly alike.
The handmade patterns on the plates are both distinct from one another and create a surprising harmony when brought together.
More pieces and colors will be added to the collection seasonally.
Care for Your Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the photos, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. I recommend minimizing contact between the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics and foods or drinks that may leave stains.
