I craft my handmade rustic plate collection using black clay. These plates, which you can use for serving snacks, appetizers, or breakfast items, are made using clay slabs that are entirely hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished, and they achieve their final appearance through a manual distressing process. Therefore, no two pieces are exactly the same.
The handmade patterns on the plates are both distinct from one another and create a surprising sense of harmony when brought together.
More pieces and colors will be added to the collection seasonally.
Care for Your Rustic Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the pictures, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are suitable for microwave use and are dishwasher safe. I particularly recommend minimizing the contact of the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics with staining foods or beverages.
