I craft my handmade rustic plate collection using black clay. These plates, which you can use for serving appetizers, mezes, or breakfast items, are made entirely from hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished clay slabs, achieving their final look through manual distressing. Therefore, no two pieces are exactly alike.
The handmade patterns on the plates are both distinct from one another and create a surprising sense of unity when brought together.
More pieces and colors will be added to the collection seasonally.
Care for Your Rustic Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the pictures, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. I particularly recommend minimizing the contact of the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics with foods or drinks that might cause staining.
