I create this handmade rustic plate collection from black clay, inspired by the raw textures of Ottoman copper shallow bowls. These plates, which you can use for serving pasta, appetizers, breakfast items, and more, are crafted using clay slabs that are entirely hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished, achieving their final appearance through hand-distressing. Therefore, no two pieces are exactly alike.

Care for Your Rustic Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the pictures, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are microwave safe and dishwasher safe. I particularly recommend minimizing contact between the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics and staining foods or drinks.
