I create my handmade farmhouse plate collection using black clay. These plates, which can be used to serve all kinds of food, are made using slabs of clay that are entirely hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished, and they achieve their final appearance through hand-distressing. The patterns are completely handmade; therefore, no two pieces are exactly alike.
More pieces and colors will be added to the collection seasonally.
Care for Your Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the pictures, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. I especially recommend minimizing contact between the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics and foods or drinks that may cause staining.
