I create this handmade rustic plate collection from black clay, inspired by the raw textures of Ottoman copper shallow bowls. These plates, which you can use for serving pasta, appetizers, breakfast items, and more, are made using entirely hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished clay slabs, and achieve their final appearance through hand-distressing. Therefore, no two pieces are identical.

Care for Your Rustic Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, there may be slight differences in size, shape, color, and glaze compared to those seen in the pictures, which makes each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are suitable for use in the microwave and are dishwasher safe. I particularly recommend minimizing contact between the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics and stain-causing foods or drinks.
