I create this handmade rustic plate collection from black clay, inspired by the raw textures of Ottoman copper shallow bowls. These plates, which you can use for serving dishes such as pasta, appetizers, or breakfast items, are made entirely using hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished clay slabs and achieve their final appearance through a manual distressing process. Therefore, no two pieces are identical.

Care for Your Rustic Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the pictures, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. I particularly recommend minimizing the contact of the unglazed surfaces of your ceramics with staining foods or beverages.
