I create this handmade rustic plate collection from black clay, inspired by the raw textures of Ottoman copper shallow bowls. These plates, which you can use to serve dishes such as pasta, appetizers, or breakfast items, are made using clay slabs that are entirely hand-rolled, shaped, and burnished, achieving their final appearance through hand-distressing. Therefore, no two pieces are identical.

Care for Your Rustic Plates
All plates are handmade. For this reason, slight variations in size, shape, color, and glaze may occur compared to what you see in the pictures, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind. All plates are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. I recommend that you minimize the contact of your ceramics' unglazed surfaces with foods or beverages that may leave stains.
